Responsible Sourcing

We are committed to implementing and following sustainable business practices and because of this, it is important for us to do business with companies who comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct, Human Rights Policy and operate in accordance with applicable laws and standards. We are also committed to FSC’s Core Labour Requirements.

Through supplier assessments, we strive to manage supply chain risks regarding sustainability which include environment, human rights and economics. We partner with suppliers who are aligned with our core values and provide a competitive edge through innovation, quality, cost and continuity of supply.

Our commitment to sustainability is evident through our certifications. We are committed to partnering with suppliers that ensure the fiber we source is not harvested from forests where endangered species could be impacted. As part of our commitment, we include a contractual requirement that our suppliers specifically comply with the Lacey Act. We require our fiber suppliers to meet or exceed the requirements of the Forest Stewardship Council® and the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® certifications.

Priorities and Goals

Wood, the primary raw material used in our products, is a 100 percent renewable and commonly recycled resource.

All manufacturing locations adhere to FSC® Chain of Custody, SFI®, and PEFC™ fiber sourcing standards to ensure 100 percent of our fiber comes from responsibly managed forests. These programs are validated through an annual audit process.
