At Clearwater Paper, we are dedicated to ensuring the safety of our people. In 2022, we were the proud recipient of the Pulp and Paper Safety Association (PPSA) Innovation Award. This recognition was for a lightweight core hub that the Lewiston, Idaho, team developed to address the ergonomic risk with core chuck handling. Awarded each year at the annual PPSA conference, the Safety Innovator Award recognizes the spirit of employee engagement and employee focus on continual improvement of safety products and processes.
